Hey gang. I mentioned this in the other VTA thread, but you can also find some good period-correct paint schemes by looking at sports car racing from the 60's and early 70's. There is a PC game called GT Legends that has a bunch of great examples. If you google it, you will find a bunch of fan sites that have screen shots and custom, vintage inspired paint schemes.
