First of all, have you ever ran any other motor? If this will be your first, then I'd say go ahead
I tested my friend's 5 port (std plug) and I can say it feels very consistent and smooth power delivery. I'm running a Nova P5X, and it certainly isn't as powerful, but I wouldn't hesitate to get a GO.
The reason why I haven't got one (intend to bash with it) is I've read they're (GO) are having problem with their carbs. Most people change it to carbs from Nova or RB (pls correct me if I'm wrong).
