Thats right folks. Larry's Performance RCs has teamed up with Joe Dumars' Field House to open up a new dirt oval in S.E. Michgan.
We need racers!!
The track is located in Shelby Township on Mound just north of M59. The track is right behind the Field House complex. A map and directions can be found here
http://www.joedumarsfieldhouse.com/ I believe that the track is 120' x 80' and will require tiller tires. No foams. Inside jobs or holeshots should work real nice.
The current plan is to start holding a race at least every other week, but we need racers.
If there is enough interest Larry will be investing in a lighting system so we can hold night races as well.
Please show your support for dirt oval racing and try to make it out on July 20th.
