i replaced the plug on the VG with an Odonnell 100 and added an extra washer. it once again ran very well under load lots of power and top end using factory settings. however would only idle for about 10 seconds. i did make it idle but so rich had no performance. temp on the track at about 240 F. the flame out stuff only happens after it cones up to temp. also have to feather the throttle to start.
