Default Killing glow plugs somehow

Hey all

Helping tune and seal up a Team Infinity Samurai 521 that has been modded a bit..

It wasn't running that great and i tunned it up a bit and it holding temp around 110c now and going pretty good. I had to wind out the MSN a very small amount as the HSN was only just kicking in at high rpm..

It is killing glow plugs very often though. using standard OS #8's and we have tried cooler plugs also with no luck.

I cant think of anything out of the normal except we are using a old RTR type ehaust which is just fully open and loud! we have a jp3 on the way...

Is there anything i should be looking at specifically?

The plugs appear slight carboned up, the last spring is out of shape a little bit and they will onlu glow the first couple rings...

thankyou all please just list the things you would be checking..

ps. this engine has never been in a good state. it has only about 3-4l through it and has been hard to tune since new. well it tunes fine but then runs hot or if tuned to run at a normal temp it doesnt quite run great and the plugs go real quick. in the 3-4L i think we have used near 9 plugs

in that time my vspec is still on its first!

thanks
