Anything is expensive if you want to excell. Sure you can run electric with one car, one charger, one motor and a couple packs but if you want to be competitive at major races you will need a LOT more then that.
Same with nitro. You can be a weekend warrior with one car, one cheap motor and have a blast. If you want to run with the big boys you better dig a little deeper.
