I tried an .28 engine in my first mbx5 pro spec, it was too much, lose control easily. If you really want to make your buggy have more power, I suggest have it tuned right, modded (perferably EB mods VSPEC), and properly gear ratio. I run 14 tooth clutch bell on a 48 spur, with EB mods vspec its perfect and FAST! smoother throttle action..
