Yes it needs some minor improvements, nothing major, OCMAmerica is holding them till they get some issue fixed with the ring/pinion gear.
I blew a ring and pinion yesterday, had it shimmed correctly, but a bearing let loose, letting the pinion move and stripped both ring and pinion.
This is the best handling truggy I have driven, once they get the ring/pinion fixed and release it, people will see what a great vehicle it is.
The ones you see now are prototypes,early production run that was sent for testing. You have to respect OCMAmerica for all the testing they have done, to ensure when they do release the truggy it will be spot on.
I understand less than a dozen were initially sent, I bought mine from a team driver who went back to a previous brand truggy, according to Alan Burton they have truggy's here in a warehouse, they are waiting for updated ring/pinions to swap out before they release them.
