Sure,
it was the RTR wheel/tire which you know doesn't have a very good grip. It was my second lap on the track and the car slided on a curve to the wooden wall that was covering the pit area; I couldn't correct it so the car hit sideways the wall, primarily the front tire and bang!
After switching to V-slicks I had no issues keeping the car on control. BTW, the tape I forgot to put into the wheel to hold the insert hasn't caused any issues; it must be because of the duck tape I put inside the tire that prevents them from ballooning and the insert is not able to move.
