Either way you choose, you're working with some dangerous stuff. It just seems to me that using the crock/anti freeze, you can put it in the garage, shut the door and let it work. Whereas with the EZ Off, you'd physically have to work with it and thereby being exposed to it, inhaling the fumes, risking getting it on your skin or clothes..etc, etc.
Now there IS one more concept to which has not gotten a single vote yet. The more I think about it, it probably is the very best solution. Preventative maintenance. In between runs, pay a little extra attn to it with the air hose or simple green. At the end of the day, clean it seperately. If you blow a gasket, take the time right then to clean it up good.
