The v3 spool is the best one to get. The aluminium ones wear down quickly.
However if you use the v2 or v3 spool you will need to use v2 universals. The black cyclones will have the original universals and not the v2.
Pretty much use spool if you are running anything higher than 27T stock brushless stock 13.5 i think spool may be ok.
For springs you should start with the setup which andy used at the World Championships. Look on the hot bodies europe site for the article about andy's win there. It should be gold silver springs (if im not mistaken the black comes with silver springs all round?).
