These tires are molded. So in order to remove them from the molds they spray them with a release agent (lube).
If you do not clean this off the tires before you glue, they simply won't stick.
I always clean the tire beads and wheels with rubbing alcohol before I even think about glueing.
Do this right and you will not have to worry about it.
