I'm looking for some help with my Mini. I have an M03M. Recently I replaced the dogbones with the Tamiya universals as well as adding a ball diff. I also put new tires on the car, but they are the same as I was running before this issue. Nothing else was changed. Before this change, my car handled awesome.... Now I have no steering. The only thing I can think of is the servo is in a different part of the mounting bracket. I did not remove the servo saver or change anything to do with the linkage.
When I say no steerling I mean I can't ever do a 6 foot circle at 100% dual rate
Please help since I love racing Mini.
Sounds like an issue with the diff. How tight was it when you put it into the car? For carpet I don't run the ball diff at all since I actually prefer the feel of the good ol' gear diff but I do shim the crap out of it. It does have some diff action but it's REAL tight.
