Im stumped
Im in the middle of my weekly rebuild/inspection and am rebuilding the front diff with the MIP diff rebuild kit. Before the rebuild, the diff was "jumpy" and felt like the balls had flattened out in spots. I replaced all the balls, rings, and then tried changing the gear, but the diff still feels exactly the same

The diff gear i put in is not new, but is in great shape.
I can think of only two things that could be wrong. Either the diff halves have deformed (steel ones) or both diff gears i tried had a little extra play in the ball slots and that is somehow causing it.
Im stumped... I hope one of you can help me out.
