With the 12L-4, try the green (olive) color spring and 25 or 30 weight Assoc. oil for the shock, .063 inch T-bar and .018 inch front springs. With this setup start with Jaco pink rear tires and Jaco double pink fronts. Ride height should be set in the 4.5 to 5mm range depending on how smooth the track is.
The local racers should be able to help you with adjustments for traction conditions from that point. Good Luck!
