Run 4 carbon Losi plastic clutch shoes with all GOLD springs. Incredible clutch life(2-3 gallons, at least). I think it helps the clutch bell bearings last longer. Maybe reduced heat build-up over aluminum shoes.
Drive the car calm. Not aggressivly and it will be fast. Slow is fast.
