I have charged at 10amps just cause I needed it in a hurry. So far, no adverse effects. Generally for my ignitors I charge at 1 amp at the track if I need to but I generally charge at not more than 0.5 amps at home. I want the battery to last longer between charges so a nice slow charge for me works best.
