Those pictures are OFFICIAL. Those are pics of the prototype and not the finished product, but the layout will not change. This was not meant to be a revolution, or big change like it was from 414 to 415, but rather an evolution. As anyone who followed F1 between 2000 and 2004 will tell you, an evolution rather than an all new car is not always bad (Ferrari's strategy in F1 during that time, and tell me how they did in those 4 seasons.....not too bad).
They decided they wanted to finally change the name from 415 to 416 which could have been done when they changed from 415ms to 415msx. All of the components on this car will be new and not be interchangable with your 415.
You have to remember, all TC cars look similar to this now. When you have a platform that works, and works very well, why try to be radically different? All it will take is one big win and everyone will want this chassis too.
This car is official and it will look like the pictures. Disappointed or not, that car is the TRF416.
