Post You are close.....

The 30 degree vs. a 25 degree is just a finer difference. The 30 degree will be harder. The .036 wire is always more flexible than the .040 wire.
The greens are softer than the gold and harder yet are the silvers.
Golds and greens are what I run mostly. The great thing about the Losi clutch is you can mix and match all you want.

For buggy..... This is just so you may understand better.
Right now for slick surfaces I run 2x 7075 (hard aluminum) on green springs w/ 1x 7075 & 1x carbon on gold springs.
If the track has enough bite then I run all gold springs.

The one carbon shoe kind of bleeds over into the face of the aluminum shoes so they do not grab quite as hard as running all aluminum. They also don't wear nearly as fast.

For trucks you might want a little more clutch because of the weight you are pushing. Gold and siver spring combinations with maybe even going to soft aluminum shoes for some of the combination for a harder grab. This is what is comming in the truck stock now and it works very well. I think it is 2x 6160blue aluminum shoes & 2x 7075 silver shoes. Two gold and two on silver springs. I don't remember which two but it does work well.

Hope this helps.
