I don't know if anyone has pointed this out.. but I think the main problem with the spur, is to loose slipper-clutch.. When the slipper slips under load, the metal axle transfers heat to the plastic spur, making it soft - and breaks.. I've tighten up the slipper and adjusted the engine-clutch to match the track I race at.. No problems!
