might have an air leak or something stuck in the carb , hold the throttle wide open and richen the high needle (counter clockwise) until it will barely run . 210 to 230 is ok for break in bud , but 300 is way too hot for a new engine . also make sure the temp gun you are using is accurate , sometimes that can screw you up . good luck bud , monty
