As long as I have enough threads in the ball cup at the ends of my shocks, is there any reason I wouldn't want to lengthen my shocks? I ran them all at 62 mm with the standard shock towers, 3 mm of shims for the roll centers, stock chassis, 54 mm foams, and Xray white springs and I found my shock length was limiting my droop, not the screws. I only needed about 1 mm more length in the shock to reach. Or am I just crazy to run small tires like that and Im going to hear "run bigger tires"?
