With the clicking you should really try and determine the source of the noise incase it is something potentially serious.

Take of one of the belts and isolate if its coming from the front or rear.

Then take out the dogbones. The clicking maybe be coming from the join where the dogbone sits in the cups of the axle stubs.

The dif pulley will move on the diff. Take into account they are held in place on the diff balls and not by being sandwiched between the diff cups. If they were tight on the diff balls well then the diff balls probably wouldnt turn and if the diff cups were tightened up tight onto the diff pulley the diff cups wont turn independently....
