From what I see, the buggy looks quite durable. Like many Tamiya cars, the suspension arms are attached to plastic bulkheads, so you might want to get spares of those bulkheads if you can. They should be dirt cheap.
Main concerns are probably motor overheating because it looks like it doesn't get much airflow, and also gear ratio options (looks like it can only run 19T or 17T pinion and nothing else), which kind of also limits your motor options.
Other than that, the buggy looks good.
