Some of you may have noticed that part of the team used 64 pitch and some used 48 pitch. Most of this is due to the fact that team drivers didn't have 64 pitch pinions. There has been no concrete evidence that either is better with the car, however I could theorize that the 48 pitch would be stronger just due to the larger teeth. Bottom line...you don't need to go crazy with either 48 or 64 pitch...just use what you're comfortable with.
