true but if you consider that the 007 chassis is not very rigid either.they have the european kit that comes with more asphalt based parts but the US spec chassis is plenty flexible for asphalt.not to mention that the 007 carpet spec chassis comes with a substantial bow in it,i would be pretty upset about that.for the price i think the AE car is gonna be kick ass.it is performing as good as anything else on the market and comes in with a much lower price tag.you spend a little extra on it for running both surfaces you will be ahead of where you would be with a 007.
