Inline turnbuckle solution:

No need to get longer turnbuckles. The solution is simple. Unscrew the turnbuckle a turn or two from the arm (bulkhead) side then unscrew the remainder needed from the ball end (hub) side (maybe 6-7 turns?). The only end that breaks is the arm side, I have NEVER seen the ball end side break. By turning the arm side out a turn or so, it gives you enough treads to make caster adjustments, but still be as strong as if you were running the offset ball link. If you break an arm now, you would have broken the arm in the offset setting too. By the way, I ALWAYS run the inline setting on my car: more traction and stearing and a general better feel to the car. Try it and you'll NEVER go back.
