Yea Rick unfortunately I think a lot of guys had that same problem with the track. The traction there was higher than anywhere I had ever raced!! Hard to deal with that if you dont get to race on that very often!

The hardest part is that it continues to increase and does not top out until qualifying. So you have to know what to do so that when you practice, you are not perfecting the car, but instead getting it to a point so that you willknow it willbe good when the grip level increases.
With rubber outdoor, there is new and used tire grip levels, and morning and afternoon grip levels, which makes it easier to find the right setup in practice.
I would love to see these races go to rubber tire. I am not exactly sure what the appeal of foam tires is. But next year will be better as we will have the resources to have cars racing full time for testing and development.
