Yeah there is but not much at all. They are both 4mm thick but the kit chassis is 7075 alluminum and hard anodized and the rtr chassis is 6061 and just alluminum not hard anodized. But they are saying people are buying the rtr chassis and putting all the kit stuff on it becasue the rtr chassis seems to have more tracktion.
