The rumors at the Snowbirds were that some had GP3300's with 30 amp voltage numbers of as much at 1.19. This is not a 20% difference since cells with 1.14 to 1.15 are readily available.

By my calculations, this is only a 4% difference. Still significant, but not 20%. At 20% these cells would have an average voltage of nearly 1.37 volts. This would be equivilant to running an extra cell. I did not see speed differences of this magnitude.

Sounds like the tale gets better as it passes around!!!
