try 5000 wt. oil on the washers to start.i use 5000wt. oil on the washers and king pins.what i do is load some on the washers when they are off the car,then i rub the 2 faces of them together to get them covered.then i stick them to the top plate and wipe them slightly back and forth to create a suction almost like when you have water between 2 pieces of glass.you will feel it tighten up when the air is displaced.once they feel tight,leave them stuck to the top plate and reassemble.this should give you a nice tight,dampened feel.i coat the king pins enough that when i run the kingpin through the pivot balls and steering knuckle,it slowly drops out.then i assemble the kingpin as normal.hope this helps out.
