Default My 8ight

I bought my 8ight Monday and I just finished it. This is the first RC car kit I have built. I have to say that the instructions were very good and the car went together very easily. I am going to run it with a Sportwerks .21 V2, 14T and JP1 manifold and pipe. Eventually I will upgrade to something better, probably a Trinity. I have not had a chance to run it yet. I am having the starter box issues that so many of you have described in this thread. I am going to work on that issue tonight. Probably chamfer the wheel of the box and also the hole on the chassis. All the tracks here are indoor, hard packed clay. They had the Regional ROAR racings this past weekend here and there were 2 8ights in the Amain. Both seem to handle the track well. The indoor tracks here can become slick after a couple of races. I can't wait to try it out this weekend at the track.
Here are a couple of picks of my 8ight. I am not really into the fancy paint jobs.
