Well, Lipo will not be legal in 2007 by ROAR and I doubt at any of the races.....and if they go to the 4 cell thing like they are talking, you can kiss any hope of Lithium technology good bye.
And all the current brushless systems suck in touring car on carpet tracks....
So you won't be seeing one in Mike Dumas's car any time soon.
And the rounds were almost 8 hours long......15+ hour days.....you won't ever see longer touring car races at Vegas, Snowbirds, etc any time soon.....they are not going to give up thousands of dollars in entry fees.
Longer races are NOT needed......if you want to run longer, go race gas......seeing 10 guys not even close to each other isn't what I call exciting racing....
