12th scale design is evolving like crazy it seems.... heres what I'd like to see: A way to adjust axle ride height (rear) without the traditional plastic insert pieces. I was thinking you could adjust the axle instead by using an elevator-type system (sorry, I'm not an engineer so I'll do my best) where the axle would ride in metal bulkheads ( replacing the plastic inserts), and the axle, housed within these small bulkheads, would be moved up & down to get the desired height--- then fixed to the pod plates with set screws. If you looked at the car from the rear the plates would have a series of holes for the set screws to fit into, locking the axle into the desired position. Ideally you wouldn't have to pull the entire axle out everytime to change inserts, just slide the entire asymbally up or down, screw into place and your done. Just curious to see if anyone see's where I'm comming from on this....
