Hi guys. Greetings from Malta.
RALF. I normally run an alloy shaft front to back instead of a top plate. It stops the chassis from folding up in the case of a frontalimpact but allows it to flex laterally. It is mounted with 2 rose joints.
I tried the standard SP top plate today but found that the car looses adhesion alot easier with it, so I have reverted to my alloy one.
Getting back to kick up and antisquat, I always thought the standard MR4 set up had hardly any of each. The arms always look absolutely flat. Interesting that the new ones should be zero degrees.
Looking at recent set up sheets for TC3s I see that they are all running them with no antisquat at the rear and no kick up at the front. Should be interesting.
Regards
Joe from sunny Malta.
