Man, theres been a lot written here since I was last here.

I use some really flat battery bars with no name brand, the bulk ones from the local shop. That was really the only way I could be mine in easily. I bent the battery bars that I use for the hardwiring points very low over the cells so they wouldn't hit the top deck on the way through. Its pretty easy to get them in and out.

Well as easy as can be expected.

Man, listening to you guys talk about the F103 here shows me that I got a really good deal on my car. The guy had the extended upper deck, pivot rear suspension, aluminum motor mount, aluminum shock, carbon rear axle, one full set of mounted foams, two full sets of mounted tamiya Type-B rubber tires and a full McLaren F1 body and two full Ferrari F1 bodies along with a servo and a Kimbrough servo saver all for a $100.

All I'm waiting for now is the Kimbrough 48 pitch spur to come in, so I can run normal 48 pitch pinions. I can wait to run it. Best part is we have a Tamiya race near here every year, and this car is all ready for competition.
