However, it's only available in injection molding form whereas Delrin can be bought in billets which can then be machined. I replaced my outdrives from the stock graphite plastic to delrin. Because they say that delrin is much tougher than the graphite plastic, and yes, more expensive. So, which is a better material for outdrives and why?
