Savage I am not to sure about that! Look at all the RC manufactures that have made running changes to the location of items on the chassis. The new K-car is a perfect example of this. They moved the engine back for better weight distribution and more rear bite on the SP2 but it was only about 2mm. There have been lots of situations like this with most all manufactures. I'm not saying less weight is bad or good. I'm only stating that less weight is not always better. There are lots of top drivers that are adding weight front or rear to get good ballance. I will admit I am one to go over board with car prep but + or - a little weight here of there does make a differance even in offroad and in onroad it is a must!

Here is a pic of my 1/12th scale car from last winter. Yes the car is ballancing on a pin point!
