Let me give you another vote for the Rev4 A very simple car with an easy to use front end, great for carpet, and it wins races!

Try a Parma Speed 8 body, Monster stock or Co27 motor, Grey rears and Purple fronts. The box stock set up is usually the best place to start with most cars.
