in my opinion, mini's heat sink is quite usefull during racing, when motor get hot (even if you using a thick paper when mounting the motor) it will meke the motor mounting made of plastic a little bit softer and make motor not stay consistent, if u using the mini's heat sink, the aluminium will help the motor to stay put.
