Does the original 414 use titanium screws or steel screws?

Did you polish those aluminum parts? Just asking cause I want to polish mine too but I'm afraid I might do more harm. Tamiya's "white" aluminums look like they have some coating or something. They don't tarnish so much like other aluminums.
