OK, I think this topic is dead now.
First off, it looks like a "NUT" to me. Second, I appreciated the help (as per my "thank you" post). Yes, there are left handed and right handed threads. Same thing as a turnbuckle used for part of the steering linkage. Anyways, I have the camber all set now.
