I agree the gold collars are too loose for my liking, would have preferred they have an oring inside as previous versions had.
My team mate ran the standard gold collars and reported no problems with adjustments changing..
I ran some original Mission collars to be safe. (shorter flange than mi2 ones, with an o-ring inside).
I switched to some Tamiya collars on my EC.....In one run I had one of my Gold collars move almost all the way up but that was only once out of about 15 packs put through the car. I went with the Tamiya ones later on just to make sure that nothing moved during a run.
