First of all, no you are not being paranoid. If I got something that was different than everybody else’s I would be asking questions too.
We run the new AMBrc systems and order a lot of personal transponders from AMB. All of them have green lights. I sent an e-mail to our support contact at AMB and the following is a quote from his e-mail:
“Orange is the new color of the LED.”
So, it seems you have one of the brand spanking new personal transponders and if anybody tells you your light is the wrong color you can respond by saying “Oh, that is just because you have one of the old transponders”.
It is odd that they wouldn’t send an updated booklet with the new transponders.
