It is a little hard on the com but I get two runs out of them and the second is actually usually better. It'll take maybe one more pass to clean it up. The cavity in the center helps keep it a little cooler. Plus they don't drop off. I've run them a third run and it was still really strong but by that time the com was not in very good shape.
