You are exactly right. For example we have checked an Xray FK04 3.9mm chassis against our 2.5mm graphite and they are VERY close in torsional and longitudinal flex.

Schumacher pays a lot for its graphite. We could get stuff that costs as much as half what we are paying now but the cars performance would suffer. Our carbon is the best in the industry.
