Hi Guys.

Greetings from Malta.

We started our National championships yesterday, with some fairly good results for my Yoke.

I finished 2nd in both finals, so it's not a bad start. I am racing in stock this season. Son Josh won the mod class with his TC3, so you could say we had a good day.

I got a bit of a scare a couple of days ago. After practicing, setting up, etc for weeks, and having got it to run really well, i weighed it. Wow! I found I needed 60 grams of weight. I put the weight in the empty space behind the cells but that upset the handling. ventually I moved half of it (30 grams) up front, between the steering pivots, which brought the handling back to normal.

But that extra weight lost me so much straight line speed!

Next round next Sunday. i'll see what i can do till then.

Regards

Joe from sunny Malta.
