Thing is, I also have a Yokomo DP coming on a chassis for chassis trade that I was thinking of upgrading instead. What do you think? I want to do some racing this winter over at the Team CRC track in Rome, NY.
I am hardly a guru, but IMHO the ssg upgrade from the special is really not much help and you could spend your money in a lot of better ways. I don't know what a DP is, but if you mean a BD, that is the way to go. The BD is one of the best (IMHO) Yokomo has ever produced. I don't know how it will do on carpet yet, but my guess it will be more than competitive.

If you try to race the ssg or Special, you are starting off with a considerable disadvantage. The BD and the SD are light years ahead of the older cars.
