Default Puuuuuush...

I raced my Mini for the first time last night. Nobody runs anything Tamiya around here, so I raced threw down with the touring cars. The car has plenty of speed, but seems to have trouble carrying corner speed, and has a low speed push that's hard to deal with. Any ideas? Here's my setup;
Front- blue springs, 40 weight, 1 hole piston, shock length 59mm
Rear- yellow springs, 40 weight, 2 hole piston, shock length 59mm
I'm running HPI belted X-Patterns with molded inserts, toe-in carriers on the rear, Eagle high speed gearing set and TA03 ball diff (set pretty tight)
I tried a ROAR stock motor, but it was a little too much for the car. Can I dial out the push, or is this the way M03's handle?
Thanks.
