Come to think of it, Masami's front ballcups look like they may be the standard ones filed down, when I first saw them I thought they might be moulded like that. He has taken a lot off them though.
WYD, by using the ballstuds you run longer camber/top links. I read somewhere that longer camber links is supposed to give you more mid-corner grip.
